A half-day retreat - from 1230pm to 430pm - in the hills of County Fermanagh, with a focus on relaxation, restoration and renewal as we move into springtime. Includes qigong, guided meditation, forest walk and a Sound Bath. Delicious vegetarian lunch included. Places are limited to 4 people and can be secured by paying a 25% deposit. Sensible shoes and a rain coat are recommended for the forest walk. A walking, qigong and meditation half-day retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Knockmany Forest Park, Clogher Valley, County Tyrone. Put on your walking shoes, pack a picnic, and join Fiona for a hike up to the stunning Anya's Grave viewpoint for some qigong, followed by forest bathing and meditation in the beech forest. This time of year is also bluebell season, and the bluebell woods in Knockmany are particularly lovely! This is a Being Zen Holistic Health signature retreat created by Fiona to introduce wellness in wild spaces and to share the lovely Knockmany Forest Park throughout the seasons. It runs several times a year. Please note that the hike up to the viewpoint is fairly steep and requires a reasonable level of fitness. 11am to 3pm approximately.

Yoga Warrior

A half day retreat focusing on developing your inner warrior, helping you to harness inner strength both on and off the mat! A Hatha Vinyasa Yoga class and a yoga workshop session designed to familiarise you with a number of poses and encouraging and developing your ability to self-adjust, empowering you to use yoga at home. There will also be time to relax! Includes a healthy and nutritious vegetarian lunch. 

Touching the Earth

A Grounding Retreat with Yoga, T'ai Chi Qigong, Forest Bathing, Therapeutic Gardening and Meditation. This retreat encourages grounding and earthing the body, and quieting the mind. Guests are encouraged to switch off their mobile phones for all or much of the retreat so as to immerse themselves more deeply in the present moment. Holistic therapies available on request. 

Includes accommodation for 2 nights and delicious vegetarian meals, with an emphasis on root and ground vegetables to enhance the grounding experience. Accommodation for up to 6 people on-site, with space for camping and campervans at a reduced rate of £170/€200. Touching the Earth Weekend Retreat Schedule:

FRIDAY
Guests are welcome to arrive at Shambala Holistic and Retreat Centre from 4pm onwards, unless booked in for a therapy treatment at an earlier time. Therapies are available from 3pm for an additional fee. Therapies cost between £30 and £40. Anyone desiring a therapy during the retreat should request a detailed price list and book in advance.

Shambala Holistic and Retreat Centre is located a short walk from the quay where the boat departs for Inis Rath Hare Krishna Island. Any retreat guests wishing to attend the weekly Sunday Programme on the island should make their way to the quay for 12pm. Further information about this event is available on request.
