Being Zen Yoga

Yoga can promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. It can help to clear energy blockages, balance chakras, and enhance overall wellbeing. I began my own  yoga journey almost 30 years ago and now teach Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga to both groups and individuals, in person and online (upon request).

I enjoy teaching Chair Yoga to older people, witnessing the benefits it brings them, physically, socially and in terms of increased mobility, confidence and body awareness. Chair Yoga is also very beneficial for office workers.

Restorative Yoga is fantastic for anxiety and stress management, while simultaneously gently improving mobility and flexibility, alongside energising the whole body.

I also offer specially designed yoga classes for horse riders, with a focus on stretching and strengthening. As someone with horse riding experience, I understand the particular needs of horse riders. I am also conscious of how many horse riders pay much attention to the needs of their horse while neglecting their own!

As a personal yoga trainer (PYT), I offer individual yoga classes at £20 per session. Home visits can be arranged upon request. I also make bespoke yoga videos to target your specific health issues or areas of the body. For example, I can teach you a bespoke Sun Salutations class, or a class focusing on hip opening, spinal mobility or stretching for runners.

My daughter, Oren, is also a yoga teacher (and a Personal Trainer, and horse riding instructor registered with the British Horse Society) and some of these community classes are shared between us, giving students the opportunity to experience different flavours and teaching styles.
